Main Aspects
  1. Completeness: A census includes information on all individuals of the society, nationals and expatriates, without repetition or exclusion.

  2. Individually-based enumeration: Every individual will be enumerated separately. As well as his economic, social and demographic data, apart from other information like: age, sex, education, occupation, social status, etc.

  3. Simultaneity: All census data should be collected at the reference time (the night of the census).

  4. Periodicity: A census is conducted on regular and periodic basis.

  5. Official Operation: A census always conducted under governmental sponsorship in terms of the legal, financial, and confidential aspects.
